CONTRACTOR’S GENERAL OBLIGATIONS. 7.1. The Contractor shall, with due care and diligence, and in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, design the Works to the extent stated in the Contract, and execute, complete and remedy any defects in the Works. The Contractor shall provide all superintendence, personnel, materials, plant, equipment and all other items, whether of a temporary or permanent nature, required for the design, execution and completion of Works, and for remedying any defects, in so far as is specified in, or can be reasonably inferred from, the Contract. The Contractor shall take full responsibility for the adequacy, stability and safety of all operations and methods of construction under the Contract.
