Common use of Contractor’s Scope of Work Clause in Contracts

Contractor’s Scope of Work. All work must be carried out and maintained per the Drawings, CQA Plan, and Addendums subject to the approval of the CQA Personnel. Any materials that are found to be outside the tolerances identified in the Drawings and CQA Plan must be reworked or removed and replaced to the approval of the CQA Personnel and at no additional cost to the OWNER. If there are any conflicts between this document and the CQA Plan, the CQA Plan will take precedence. Contractor will be responsible for any damage its operations cause to any portion of the Work, regardless of the circumstances, and will repair this damage to the approval of the CQA Personnel and at no additional cost to the OWNER. The Contractor’s Surveyor, at the Contractor’s discretion, will verify starting elevations as prepared by OWNER's surveyor and will bring any discrepancies that affect the contract documents to the attention of the OWNER immediately upon discovery of that discrepancy. The Contractor will have a sufficiently reliable survey capability to provide grade control during the construction process to minimize certification surveys completed by the OWNER. The OWNER will provide a limited number of surveys for certification purposes of the finished portions of the project including pond dimensions and subgrade and leak detection system. The CQA Firm will prepare final record Drawings of the Work based on certification surveys conducted by OWNER’s surveyor. Contractor is responsible for all dewatering and repairs required due to rain or freezing through final OWNER acceptance of all work of the contract; associated costs are to be included in unit prices. The Contractor will also be responsible for dust control and temporary stormwater drainage during construction, including during installation of the synthetic materials, to protect the work and avoid any delays in construction. OWNER holds a stormwater discharge permit and air emissions Construction Permit for landfill operations, including earthmoving activities and the Contractor shall comply with all provisions of these permits as they relate to the work. Water for soils processing and dust control will be provided by OWNER from an on-site holding pond. It should be noted that although the drawings include additional details regarding concrete offloading pads, this work will be bid separately from the activities outlined in this document.

Contractor’s Scope of Work.  The supplier shall carry out field feasibility survey and preparation of location drawing and get approved from the Engineer-in-charge prior to taking up installation work.  Marking of equipment location / cable routes shall be done as per the approved document.  All work must the equipments cables and accessories supplied against this order shall be installed in various infrastructure buildings following standard installation practice followed in industries as per the approved layout and the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.  The installation shall include all the suitable accessories required at site like mounting brackets, Glands, clamp, anchor fastener, Lugs, Ferrules with marking of locations for various equipments required for installation.  The installation may involve drilling through the concrete walls and Brick walls, etc. Resurfacing of the walls shall be carried out and maintained after the work with original finish.  For extending signal to above buildings existing Fiber optic cable cores will be made available by NPCIL/KKNPP. Wherever Cat-6 cables are not available, new Cat-6 cables are to be laid which are covered under the scope of this order under schedule of quantity. However, signal cable will be issued by NPCIL as free issue material.  Laying of NPCIL/KKNPP supplied cables on wall/ceiling/ducts shall be done as per the Drawingsfield requirement under the direction of ENC. Cable ties, CQA Plancable markers, and Addendums subject or any other accessories required, which may not be brought out specifically in the above specification shall be made available for the work at no extra cost by the supplier.  Termination of OFC/Cat-6/Signal/Power cables to the approval end equipments using suitable glands/connectors shall be done as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. All the CQA Personneltermination of cables shall have necessary markers and suitable identification ferrules.
