Interests of Contractor. Contractor affirms that it presently has no interest and shall not have any interest, direct or indirect, which would conflict in any manner with the performance of the Services contemplated by this Agreement.

Interests of Contractor. CONTRACTOR affirms that it presently has no interest and shall not have any interest, direct or indirect, which would conflict in any manner with the performance of the Scope of Work contemplated by this Agreement. No person having any such interest shall be employed by or be associated with CONTRACTOR.
Interests of Contractor. (a) Contractor covenants that it presently has no interest and shall not acquire any interest, direct or indirect, which may be affected by the Services, or which would conflict in any manner with the performance of the Services. Contractor further covenants that, in performance of this Agreement, no person having any such interest shall be employed by it. Furthermore, Contractor shall avoid the appearance of having any interest, which would conflict in any manner with the performance of the Services. Contractor shall not accept any employment or representation during the term of this Agreement which is or may likely make Contractor “financially interested” (as provided in California Government Code §§ 1090 and 87100) in any decision made by City on any matter in connection with which Contractor has been retained.
Interests of Contractor. The Contractor covenants that it presently has no interest, and shall not acquire any interest—direct, indirect or otherwise—that would conflict in any manner or degree with the performance of the work hereunder. The Contractor further covenants that, in the performance of this work, no subcontractor or person having such an interest shall be employed. The Contractor certifies that no one who has or will have any financial interest in performing this work is an officer or employee of the City. It is hereby expressly agreed that, in the performance of the work hereunder, the Contractor shall at all times be deemed an independent contractor and not an agent or employee of the City.

  • STATUS OF CONTRACTOR 20 CONTRACTOR is, and shall at all times be deemed to be, an independent contractor and shall be 21 wholly responsible for the manner in which it performs the services required of it by the terms of this 22 Agreement. CONTRACTOR is entirely responsible for compensating staff, subcontractors, and 23 consultants employed by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR, its agents, employees, consultants, or subcontractors, shall not be 29 entitled to any rights or privileges of COUNTY employees and shall not be considered in any manner to 30 be COUNTY employees. 31
