Contractually Limited Appointment. An Appointment for a specified period, not to exceed five (5) years (see 26.4). A Librarian Member appointee in such a position is eligible for consideration of Promotion in rank, but is not eligible for consideration for the granting of a Continuing Appointment. Non-renewal of a Contractually Limited Appointment does not constitute dismissal under the provisions of Article 39: Discipline.
