Common use of Contributions Beginning July 2017 Clause in Contracts

Contributions Beginning July 2017. Effective the first full pay period of July 2017, bargaining unit members covered by this Section 48.4 shall pay an additional one-half of a percent (0.5%) of pensionable compensation for a total of thirteen and one-half percent (13.5%) of pensionable compensation toward the cost of pension benefits as permitted by Government Code Section 20516.
