Common use of Conversion Embargoes Clause in Contracts

Conversion Embargoes. A Switch or frame conversion embargo is the time period that the Switch or frame Trunk Side facility connections are frozen to facilitate conversion from one Switch or frame to another with minimal disruption to the End User Customer or CLEC services. During the embargo period, CenturyLink will reject orders for Trunk Side facilities (see Section 12.3.24.4.1) other than conversion orders described in Section 12.3.24.4.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing and to the extent CenturyLink provisions trunk or trunk facility related service orders for itself, its End User Customers, its Affiliates, or any other party during embargoes, CenturyLink shall provide CLEC the same capabilities.
