Cooking Appliances. No large/heavy appliances are permitted in assigned living spaces except those provided by University. Student residence facilities allow only approved microwave ovens (no more than 750 xxxxx of power plugged into a multi-outlet power strip with circuit breaker), refrigerators (weighing less than 50 pounds, less than 3.7 cubic feet in size, and having an amperage draw of 3.0) and popcorn makers.
Cooking Appliances. Residence halls allow only approved refrigerators (weighing less than 50 pounds, less than 2.5 cubic feet in size and having an amperage draw of 2.5) on Premises, this does not include microfridges. No other appliances whatsoever are permitted in the residence halls. No cooking is allowed on the premises, nor use of a microwave or any other appliance beyond the refrigerator defined in this paragraph.
Cooking Appliances. You are prohibited from cooking food in your bedroom. You will store all electrical cooking appliances (i.e. toasters, hot plates, microwaves), in areas with approved kitchen facilities. Automatic shut-off coffee makers or kettles are permitted in residence rooms. You are prohibited from having barbeques or fires on the University of Waterloo residence property. You are prohibited from lighting/burning candles, incense, or oil lamps, or any appliance requiring combustible fuel in any residence. If you are required to light or burn candles/incense based on religious grounds must seek prior permission from your Residence Life Co-ordinators. You may not use an extension cord in residence, as they can easily be misused and pose a major fire risk. If you use a space heater, is is mandatory that it be equipped with an auto shut off, be CSA approved for electrical use and be in good condition. You must not overload electrical outlets.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Food Although food may be served at a program being paid for with grant or local match funds, the food may not be purchased with grant or matching funds.

  • Devices BNY Mellon will restrict the transfer of Customer Data from its network to mass storage devices. BNY Mellon will use a mobile device management system or equivalent tool when mobile computing is used to provide the services. Applications on such authenticated devices will be housed within an encrypted container and BNY Mellon will maintain the ability to remote wipe the contents of the container.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Accessories The following described related accessories, if any: window air conditioning units, stove, fireplace screens, curtains and rods, blinds, window shades, draperies and rods, door keys, mailbox keys, above ground pool, swimming pool equipment and maintenance accessories, artificial fireplace logs, and controls for: (i) garage doors, (ii) entry gates, and (iii) other improvements and accessories.

  • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.

  • Fixtures and Fittings 8.13.1 Not to remove any of the Fixtures and Fittings from the Premises to store the same in the loft, basement or garage (if any) without obtaining the Landlord’s prior written consent, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, and then to ensure that any such items are stored safely and upon vacating the Premises, to leave the same in the places in which they were on the Commencement Date. 8.13.2 Not to remove the Fixtures and Fittings as specified in the Inventory and Schedule of Condition or any part of them or any substitute Fixtures and Fittings from the Premises and not to bring onto the Premises the Tenant’s own equipment or effects without the prior written consent of the Landlord, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld.
