Common use of Cooperation on statistics Clause in Contracts

Cooperation on statistics. 1. The main aim shall be to approximate methods, so that the Parties are able to use each other's statistics on trade in goods and services and more generally on any area covered by this Agreement for which statistics can be collected. 2. Cooperation shall focus on: (a) homologation of statistical methods to generate indicators that are comparable between the Parties; (b) scientific and technological exchanges with statistical institutions of the Member States of the European Union, and with Eurostat; (c) statistical research directed at developing common methods for collecting, analysing and interpreting data; (d) organising seminars and workshops; and (e) statistical training programmes, including other countries of the region.
