Coordinate System. The North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83/93), Missouri East Zone, US Survey Feet, shall be used for the horizontal datum. The National American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88), US Survey Feet, shall be used for the vertical datum. The City of Saint Xxxxxxx has developed a rather extensive Geodetic Control Network. These locations and coordinates can be obtained from the NGS National Geodetic Survey (NGS), National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) database. All GPS related projects shall reference these materials.

To find the path to the current layer, tap the Find button (if Auto Find has been checked in the Options screen, this step is not necessary). To add a layer to the list of layers in the Basemap Layer Control screen, tap the Add button. If the coordinate system and units information is not correct for this layer, you may delete the .BLI file where this data is stored by tapping the Delete button. Tap Cancel to return to the Database page. Tap the Delete button to delete the .BLI files for all of the loaded layers (the layers themselves will not be deleted). Tap the Set Units button to set the units for all of the loaded layers. Tap the Add to List button to add all of the loaded layers to the list of basemap layers displayed in the Basemap Layer Control screen. NOTE: The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) is expected to release a new State Plane Coordinate System for Vermont in 2022 (SPCS2022), built upon the new National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) of 2022 and its associated North American Terrestrial Reference Frame (NATRF2022). As a result, the Contractor shall be prepared to shift to delivering all orthoimagery and products to the new SPCS2022 once it becomes available.
