Common use of Cost of Scaling and Delivery of Scale Documents Clause in Contracts

Cost of Scaling and Delivery of Scale Documents. Purchaser shall pay the cost of scaling, and instruct the third-party scaler to provide copies of the daily scale tickets that identify individual loads of logs and weekly scale summary sheets to the STATE and Purchaser within one (1) week after scaling. Purchaser shall also instruct the third party scaler to provide copies of scale summary sheets for every four (4) week period on a calendar month basis to the STATE and Purchaser within ten (10) business days of the end of each calendar month. Summary scale sheets shall include gross and net volumes by species, sort and grade, subtotaled for each Timber Harvest Unit within the Timber Sale Area.
