The central office permit manager may establish alternate time restrictions in normal working hours for district- wide permits. The utility owner must apply for a separate land use permit from the local district permit office for any emergency work performed on state maintained right-of-way when the following actions are proposed: • Stopping or impeding highway travel in excess of 15 minutes, or, • Accessing facilities within limited access right-of-way, or, • Cutting the highway pavement or shoulders. The district administrator’s designee shall determine the applicable permit fee for emergency repair permits.

The utility owner must apply for a separate land use permit from the local district permit office for any emergency work performed on state maintained right-of-way when the following actions are proposed: • Stopping or impeding highway travel in excess of 15 minutes, or, • Accessing facilities within limited access right-of-way, or, • Cutting the highway pavement or shoulders. The district administrator’s designee shall determine the applicable permit fee for emergency repair permits.
