Common use of Court Instituted Actions Clause in Contracts

Court Instituted Actions. 18.1 If any provision of this agreement or any application thereof to any teachers is held by the highest court of the State or by Federal court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision or application will be deemed invalid, to the extent required by such court decision, but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force and effect.
