Common use of Coverage Limits Clause in Contracts

Coverage Limits. Coverage under this Article is effective only during the lifetime of the professor and, if covered, for their spouse or registered domestic partner of record enrolled in a District plan at the time of retirement from the District. Dissolution of a marriage or a registered domestic partnership disqualifies coverage for the spouse or registered domestic partner of record as of the date of such dissolution. If the retiree remarries, the new spouse or registered domestic partner of record becomes eligible for benefits.
