Common use of Criminal Liability Clause in Contracts

Criminal Liability. All reasonable legal fees incurred as a result of criminal allegations or complaints made or with respect to a criminal action, including Highway Traffic Act charges or alleged disciplinary defaults or complaints under the Law Enforcement Review Act, taken against any member or former member of the Police Service arising out of such member's or former member’s actions while engaged in his duties as a Police Officer or other Police Employee whether on or off duty, as the case may be, shall be paid by the City.
