Crisis Intervention Training Sample Clauses

The Crisis Intervention Training clause requires that certain individuals, typically employees or contractors, receive specialized instruction on how to effectively respond to emergency or high-stress situations. This training may cover topics such as de-escalation techniques, recognizing signs of mental health crises, and appropriate communication strategies. Crisis Intervention Training. 312. The City agrees to provide all officers and recruits with initial and ongoing annual in-service on responding to individuals in crisis. The initial and annual training will address the circumstances in which a specialized Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) officer should be dispatched or consulted, and how situations involving individuals in crisis should be addressed if a specialized CIT officer is not immediately available.

Act as a liaison with DBH’s Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) team Program Manager I and the CSUSB Chief of Police to assist in the coordination of providing behavioral health trainings and education to CSUSBPD and other campus personnel who provide direct supportive services to students on campus.

All new recruits will receive at least 16 hours of training in the academy that meets these same requirements.
Crisis Intervention Training. The City desires that police personnel be provided the resources and training to be better equipped to respond to mental health related calls to law enforcement. Region agrees to provide crisis intervention training (“CIT”) to Knoxville Police Department (“KPD”) personnel. The training will include 40-hour course of CIT instruction and training for KPD employees.
Crisis Intervention Training. SRO’s will meet training requirements, as provided under Sections 1006.12 (1) and (2) F.S. as they relate to mental health crisis intervention and de-escalation training. Mental health crisis intervention training will be conducted through a curriculum developed by a recognized national organization with expertise in mental health crisis intervention.
