Common use of Criteria for Appeal Clause in Contracts

Criteria for Appeal. A disagreement or misunderstanding between one or more teachers and one or more members of the District administrative/supervisory staff, other than a grievance, may be resolved by using this Appeal Procedure. Any violation, misinterpretation, or inequitable application of any of the working conditions or other provisions of the Professional Agreement is defined as a grievance and will not be processed as an appeal. If an issue has been submitted as a grievance, that same issue may not be submitted as an appeal.
