Criteria To Be Met For Research and Scholarship Leaves. a. Research and Scholarship leaves are intended for scholarly activities, such as the writing of a book, professional development or research on a professional project. No leave will be granted for the purposes of teaching in another institution, and a faculty member may not teach in another institution during such leave. A research and scholarship leave will not be granted for travel for purely personal reasons.
