Common use of CROSSING UTILITIES Clause in Contracts

CROSSING UTILITIES. When new construction crosses highways, railroads, streets or utilities under the jurisdiction of state, county, city or other public agency, public utility or private entity, the contractor shall secure written permission from the proper authority before executing such new construction. A copy of this written permission must be filed with the owner before any work is done. The Contractor will be required to furnish a release from the proper authority before final acceptance of the work.
