Common use of Currency and Payment Obligations Clause in Contracts

Currency and Payment Obligations. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement: (1) all dollar amounts referred to in this Agreement are stated in Canadian Dollars; (2) any payment contemplated by this Agreement shall be made by cash, certified cheque or any other method that provides immediately available funds; and (3) except in the case of any payment due on the Closing Date, any payment due on a particular day must be received and available not later than 2:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on the due date and any payment made after that time shall be deemed to have been made and received on the next Business Day.
