Common use of CUSIP, CINS and ISIN Numbers Clause in Contracts

CUSIP, CINS and ISIN Numbers. The Issuer in issuing the Equipment Notes may use “CUSIP”, “CINS”, “ISIN” or other identification numbers (if then generally in use), and if so, the Indenture Trustee shall use CUSIP numbers, CINS numbers, ISIN numbers or other identification numbers, as the case may be, in notices of redemption or exchange as a convenience to Holders; provided that any such notice shall state that no representation is made as to the correctness of such numbers either as printed on the Equipment Notes or as contained in any notice of redemption or exchange and that reliance may be placed only on the other identification numbers printed on the Equipment Notes; provided further, that failure to use “CUSIP”, “CINS”, “ISIN” or other identification numbers in any notice of redemption or exchange shall not affect the validity or sufficiency of such notice.
