Customer’s Ability to Audit Background Screenings, Inspect Locations and Ensure Contract Compliance. To ensure the Contractor is in compliance with the Contract and adhering to all applicable state and federal rules and regulations, the Customer or the Department reserves the right to audit or inspect the Contractor’s background screening process, working area, location, or guard tour patrol system during the term of the Contract. For an audit or inspection to take place, the Customer shall notify the Contractor in writing at least 48 hours prior to the start date of any audit or inspection.
