Any professional employee covered by this agreement shall be granted two (2) days paid leave when absent because of the death of a near relative as defined by Section 1154 (c) of the Pennsylvania School Code. *Explanatory Note: At the present time the School Code defines near relative as first cousin, grandfather, grandmother, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in- law, and sister-in-law.
