Decanal Review and Recommendation. The Xxxx shall assess applications for sabbatical leave, and shall consider the statement of the member's plans for the proposed sabbatical leave. After consultation with COAP, the Xxxx shall forward recommendations to the Xxxxxxx, provided that such recommended leaves are scheduled in departmental plans by March 15 in the same year. If the Xxxx is not satisfied with such an application, or if it is determined that the member has failed adequately to report sabbatical activities and accomplishments, in accordance with V.2.9, the Xxxx may deny a sabbatical leave application.
