Common use of Dedicated Transport Dark Fiber Clause in Contracts

Dedicated Transport Dark Fiber. 12.2.1 At 251(c)(3) Unbundled dedicated transport dark fiber segments in routes that have not been Declassified, AT&T will provide a UNE Dedicated Transport Dark Fiber segment that is considered “spare” as defined in Section 12.6 and 12.7 below. UNE Dedicated Transport Dark Fiber is defined as AT&T dark fiber interoffice transmission facilities dedicated to a particular CLEC that are within AT&T’s network, connecting AT&T switches or wire centers within a LATA. UNE Dedicated Transport Dark Fiber does not include transmission facilities between the AT&T network and the CLEC network or the location of CLEC equipment. AT&T will offer dedicated transport dark fiber to CLEC when CLEC has collocation space in each AT&T CO where the requested dedicated transport dark fiber(s) terminate.
