Deductible VAT Sample Clauses

Deductible VAT. VAT paid by a grant Beneficiary on purchases necessary for the implementation of taxed activities can be deducted from VAT charged by the grant Beneficiary on its sales. It does not constitute a cost for the Beneficiary and may therefore not be eligible.11 For exempt activities without right of deduction the VAT is always eligible.12 The same is true for activities outside the scope of VAT (i.e. non-economic activities), unless the activity is an activity engaged in as a public authority.
