Deductions for Full-Day Absences Generally. 112 As permitted by law, an employee’s bi-weekly salary may be reduced by an amount equal to the daily salary (e.g., 1/10th of the guaranteed bi-weekly salary or 1/5th of the guaranteed weekly salary) for full day absences on a usual scheduled workday under the following circumstances:  Absence from work for one or more full days for personal reasons, other than sickness or disability;  Absence from work for one or more full days due to sickness or disability;  Proportionate rate of full salary for time actually worked in the first and last weeks of employment; and,  Unpaid leave taken pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
