Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and their regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, they shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times their regular rate of pay as follows:
(i) compensation at one and one-half (1½) times their regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time in accordance with Article 18.11.
(b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 18.05(a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the Employee’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where an employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and her regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2½) times her regular rate of pay as follows:
(i) compensation at one and one-half (1½) times her regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time prior to the end of the second calendar month immediately following the month in which the holiday fell.
(b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 18.05(a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the employee’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. Where an employee is required to work on a holiday designated in 14.01, he shall be compensated in addition to the pay he would be entitled to had he not worked on the holiday as follows:
(a) Time off with pay at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for each hour worked, at a time to be mutually agreed between the employee and his supervisor;
(b) If time off is not granted on the basis of mutual agreement, within one (1) month of the scheduled holiday, the permanent head may designate when the time off is to be taken within a further one (1) month, or pay the employee at the rate of time and one-half (1½ ) for all hours worked on the holiday.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. An employee who works on a holiday at the request of the employer and is not approved to take another mutually agreed day off in lieu, shall be paid time and one-half for all hours worked in addition to the holiday provided in Article 20.2.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. Where an employee is regularly scheduled to work and their regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 22.01, they shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times their regular rate as follows:
(a) compensation at one and one-half (1 ½) times their regular rate of pay including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(b) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time prior to the end of the second calendar month immediately following the month in which the holiday fell. Compensation for Work on a Holiday. Where an employee is required to work on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 16.01, he will receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2½) times his regular rate, as follows:
(a) compensation at time and a half (one and one-half times regular rate), including holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(b) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-to-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time prior to the end of the calendar month immediately following the month in which the holiday fell.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. If a permanent full-time employee works on any of the holidays set forth in Section l of this Recommendation, the employee shall be compensated at 1½ times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on said holiday. The employee shall receive paid time off for all hours worked on a holiday up to a full shift. If the employee works during the employee's regularly scheduled shift on a holiday, the paid time off shall be in lieu of holiday pay under Section 3 above. Paid time off for time worked outside of the employee's regularly scheduled shift on a holiday shall not be in lieu of such holiday pay.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where a Nurse is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 7, and the Nurse’s regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 10.18, the Nurse shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times the Nurse’s regular rate of pay as follows:
(i) compensation at one and one-half (1½) times the Nurse’s regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time subject to Article 10.30.
(b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 10.23(a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the Nurse’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. When an employee is required to work on a holiday, he/she shall be compensated, in addition to holiday pay, at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times his/her regular hourly rate for all hours worked on that day.
