Defense Assignment. The Board agrees to provide an attorney to defend an employee in any criminal or civil action or proceeding arising out of disciplinary action taken against a pupil of the District while in the discharge of the duties within the scope of employment. Such counsel will advise the employee of his/her legal rights in such case.
