Definition and Purpose. A. A voluntary Training Incentive Award Program is established in the Alameda County Sheriff's Department to provide an incentive in the form of a separate monetary award for qualified Members of the Department who complete an approved educational program to improve their individual knowledge, skill, and effectiveness in the field of Law Enforcement.
