Definition of ‘companies and firms’. 1. For the purpose of this Agreement, ‘companies or firms of a Member State or an ACP State’ mean companies or firms constituted under civil or commercial law, including corporations, whether public or otherwise, cooperative societies and other legal persons and partnerships governed by public or private law, save for those which are non-profit-making, formed in accordance with the law of a Member State or an ACP State and whose statutory office, central administration or principal place of business is a Member State or an ACP State. ▼B‌‌

Other terms that are capitalized, and not defined in this Agreement, shall have the meaning in the Act.
