Examples of Definitions and Rules of Interpretation in a sentence

  • The following Definitions and Rules of Interpretation apply to all parts of these terms and conditions.

  • Unless otherwise provided herein, this Agreement shall be governed by the principles of interpretation provided in Section 1.2 (Interpretation) of Schedule A (Common Definitions and Rules of Interpretation – Interpretation) of the Common Terms Agreement, mutatis mutandis.

  • Unless otherwise defined herein or in Schedule A (Common Definitions and Rules of Interpretation – Interpretation) of the Common Terms Agreement, terms used herein that are defined in the UCC shall have the respective meanings given to those terms in the UCC.

  • Unless otherwise provided herein, the rules of interpretation set forth in Section 1.2 (Interpretation) of Schedule A (Common Definitions and Rules of Interpretation) of the Common Security and Account Agreement shall apply to this Agreement, including its preamble and recitals, mutatis mutandis.

  • In this Obligor Subordination Agreement and the Schedules hereto, except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, capitalized terms shall have the meanings assigned to them in Section 1.3 of Schedule A (Common Definitions and Rules of Interpretation) of the Common Security and Account Agreement.

  • Definitions and Rules of Interpretation and Computation of Time are attached hereto as Exhibit A.‌ 1.4 Voting Procedures.

  • The Borrower, the Guarantors and the Intercreditor Agent each agree that the definition of “Acceptable Debt Service Reserve LC” in Section 1.3 (Definitions) of Schedule A (Common Definitions and Rules of Interpretation) to the Common Terms Agreement is amended by (i) adding the word “and” to the end of clause (a); (ii) replacing the “; and” at the end of clause (b) with a “.”; and (iii) deleting clause (c) in its entirety.

  • If either party terminates this Agreement prior to the Closing Date, and the other party is not in breach of this Agreement, the terminating party shall be obligated to pay the other party a break-up fee of $50,000.

  • Interpretation Act means the Interpretation Act (British Columbia) from time to time in force and all amendments thereto and includes all regulations and amendments thereto made pursuant to that Act;

  • Definitions In this Agreement:

  • Hague-Visby Rules means the provisions of the International Convention for the Unification of certain rules Relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25th August 1924 as amended by the Visby Protocol of 23rd February 1968 and the SDR Protocol of 21st December 1979;

  • Interpretation or “Interpreting” means the process of translating communication between hearing individuals, who communicate in spoken language, and individuals who communicate in sign language. Interpreters must be able to listen to an individual’s words, inflections, and intent and simultaneously render them into sign language using the mode of communication preferred by the Customer. The Interpreter must also be able to comprehend the signs, inflections, and intent of the Customer and speak them in articulate, appropriate English.

  • Other Definitional Provisions set forth in Section 1.2 of the Basic Servicing Agreement are incorporated by reference into this 2017-3 Servicing Supplement.

  • Terms of Reference (TORs) means the Terms of Reference that explains the objectives, scope of work, activities, and tasks to be performed, respective responsibilities of the Procuring Entity and the Consultant, and expected results and deliverables of the assignment.

  • FBF Definitions means the definitions set out in the June 2013 FBF Master Agreement relating to transactions on forward financial instruments as supplemented by the Technical Schedules (Additifs Techniques) as published by the Fédération Bancaire Française (together the FBF Master Agreement) as may be supplemented or amended as at the Issue Date.

  • General Provisions means those portions of the Subscription Agreement headed “General Provisions” and contained on pages 7 to 12;

  • Terms of Reference (TOR) means the document included in the RFP as Section 5 which explains the objectives, scope of work, activities, tasks to be performed, respective responsibilities of the Client and the Consultant, and expected results and deliverables of the Assignment/job.

  • Hague Rules means the International Convention for the Unification of certain Rules of Law relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25 August 1924.

  • Commonwealth Standard Grant Conditions means this document.

  • Terms of Reference (TOR) means the document included in the RFP as Section 5 which explains the objectives, scope of work, activities, tasks to be performed, respective responsibilities of the Client and the Consultant, and expected results and deliverables of the assignment.

  • Defined Terms As used herein:

  • Specifications and Standards means the specifications and standards relating to the quality, quantity, capacity and other requirements for the Project Highway, as set forth in Schedule-D, and any modifications thereof, or additions thereto, as included in the design and engineering for the Project Highway submitted by the Contractor to, and expressly approved by, the Authority;

  • Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include any amendment to or any re-enactment thereof as in force from time to time.

  • Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards means those certain technical requirements and standards applicable to interconnections of generation and/or transmission facilities with the facilities of an Interconnected Transmission Owner or, as the case may be and to the extent applicable, of an Electric Distributor, as published by Transmission Provider in a PJM Manual provided, however, that, with respect to any generation facilities with maximum generating capacity of 2 MW or less (synchronous) or 5 MW or less (inverter-based) for which the Interconnection Customer executes a Construction Service Agreement or Interconnection Service Agreement on or after March 19, 2005, “Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards” shall refer to the “PJM Small Generator Interconnection Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.” All Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards shall be publicly available through postings on Transmission Provider’s internet website.

  • Standard Terms and Conditions or “Standard Terms” means these terms and conditions for the grant of the Loan to the Borrower by ABFL.

  • PPB Rules means the rules of the Procurement Policy Board as set forth in Title 9 of the Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”), § 1-01 et seq.

  • Certain Defined Terms As used in this Agreement, the term "Prospectus" means the applicable Portfolio's prospectus and related statement of additional information, whether in paper format or electronic format, included in the Portfolio's then currently effective registration statement (or post-effective amendment thereto), and any information that we or the Portfolio may issue to you as a supplement to such prospectus or statement of additional information (a "sticker"), all as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933.

  • Variation Procedure means the procedure for carrying out a Variation as set out in Clause 19.1 (Variation Procedure);

  • General Terms and Conditions means the General Terms and Conditions for Services Contracts as referenced on the RFP cover page.

  • Promotion of Access to Information Act ’ means the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000);

  • Terms & Conditions means the Special Conditions of Contract and General Conditions of Contract herein mentioned and other stipulations incorporated in any part of Tender Document and /or Agreement.

  • ISO-NE Rules means all rules and procedures adopted by NEPOOL, ISO-NE, or the RTO, and governing wholesale power markets and transmission in New England, as such rules may be amended from time to time, including but not limited to, the ISO-NE Tariff, the ISO-NE Operating Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the ISO-NE Planning Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Transmission Operating Agreement (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Participants Agreement, the manuals, procedures and business process documents published by ISO-NE via its web site and/or by its e-mail distribution to appropriate NEPOOL participants and/or NEPOOL committees, as amended, superseded or restated from time to time.

  • General Rules means the general rules set out in Part 2 of these QFCA Rules.

  • Applicable Rules means Section 10D of the Exchange Act, Rule 10D-1 promulgated thereunder, the listing rules of the national securities exchange or association on which the Company’s securities are listed, and any applicable rules, standards or other guidance adopted by the Securities and Exchange Commission or any national securities exchange or association on which the Company’s securities are listed.
