Definition of irregularities. An irregularity shall mean an infringement of: a) the legal framework of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 referred to in Article 1.5 b) this Agreement; c) the project contract; d) any provision of European Union law; or e) any provision of the national law of the Beneficiary State, which affects or prejudices the implementation of the Programme, for instance by unjustified or disproportionate expenditure, by affecting the integrity of the selection process, or by reducing or losing revenue under the Programme and/or the project.
