Common use of Definition of Segment Clause in Contracts

Definition of Segment. An operating business segment (other than the transportation segment) shall be considered a segment for purposes of this Section 3(e) if the Company classifies it as a segment in its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission prior to the sale. As of the Effective Date, the Company has three such operating business segments: Minerals and Materials; Environmental; and Oilfield Services.
