Common use of Definition Section Clause in Contracts

Section 1 of the Agreement is hereby amended to add the following definition: “August 2012 Purchase Agreement: The Securities Purchase Agreement by and among PostRock Energy Corporation, White Deer Energy L.P., White Deer Energy TE L.P. and White Deer Energy FI L.P., dated August 1, 2012.”.
