These can be delivered in colleges, or as part of a bespoke visit to our campus. Our range of talks and workshops includes: • Choosing a university • Choosing a course • Student finance and budgeting • The UCAS application • Personal statements • Studying at Goldsmiths • Student life • Studying in London These workshops would normally last for around 45 minutes, and we are happy to discuss bespoke workshops and combining two or more sessions into a longer session. The team also delivers dedicated Personal Statement support throughout the application process. We can provide workshops for groups of students at the beginning of the process as well as one-to-one consultation. Goldsmiths offers a range of subject- based taster days that give prospective students the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of teaching and learning at university level. Developed and delivered by leading academic staff, the sessions aim to stimulate enquiry, broaden knowledge of the subject area, and introduce students to a wider network of academics, undergraduate students and peers. Through this Progression Agreement, students attending a taster day can be introduced to a current Student Ambassador who has also come via an Access course to discuss their journey to HE.
