Description of Covered Items. Outside gas service line is defined as a natural gas supply line from the curb box to the inlet valve of the meter for one single family residential home β it is the most direct line between the curb box and the inlet valve of the meter. It includes the gas supply line between the outlet of the meter and the exterior of the foundation. It does not include any connections or extensions such as, but not limited to, gas lines to grills, lights and pool heaters.
