Descriptor V: Data Review. This descriptor is one of the most crucial portions of the data quality assessment. All data should receive some level of review. While data may be used in preliminary assessments and decision making prior to review, reviews specified in this QAPP will have been completed before any data is used in the Characterization Survey Report. The first part of the review is to identify errors, omissions, and limitations of the data. Secondly, a review of quality control (QC) data is performed to evaluate laboratory and field performance for radioactivity measurement and sampling activities.
