Common use of Designated Alternate Clause in Contracts

Designated Alternate. A designated alternate is an Education Assistant or Child and Youth Care Worker who works at the same location as an absent Education Assistant or Child and Youth Care Worker and who is designated by the supervisor to perform specialized tasks which require training or familiarization during the Education Assistant or Child and Youth Care Worker's absence.
