Desk Adjusting Services. As a part of the MCM Adjusting Services, Desk Adjusting Services are used for simple, low severity losses or in response to catastrophe claims volume. Under Desk Adjusting Services, Adjuster involvement from first notice of loss until closure is limited to desk adjusting without onsite presence unless otherwise approved in writing by Citizens. The Adjuster may be provided field task adjuster submissions of completed claims loss estimate, diagrams, and related photos. In such case, the Adjuster will be responsible for closing the claim completely, including coverage decisions, estimate review and approval, and providing closing documents to the insured to include any claims settlement.
