Common use of Detail Drawings and Instructions Clause in Contracts

Detail Drawings and Instructions. .1 The Project Manager shall furnish as necessary for the execution of the Work additional instructions, by means of drawings or otherwise. All such additional instructions shall be consistent with the Contract documents. The Work shall be executed in conformity therewith and the Contractor shall do no work without such additional instructions. In giving such additional instructions, the Project Manager shall have authority to make minor changes in the Work, not inconsistent with the Contract. .2 The Contractor and the Project Manager, if either so requests, shall jointly prepare a schedule, subject to change from time to time in accordance with the progress of the Work, fixing the dates at which the various detail drawings will be required, and the Project Manager shall furnish them in accordance with the schedule. Under like conditions, a schedule shall be prepared, fixing the dates for the submission of shop drawings, for the beginning of manufacture and installation of materials and for the completion of the various parts of the work.
