Detective Differential. The pay differential for a Sergeant assigned as a Detective shall be four percent (4%) above the employee's base rate of pay.
Detective Differential. (a) Detective Sergeants and Detective Lieutenants shall receive $1500. per calendar year, over and above the applicable annual salaries, while serving in the Detective Bureau as compensation for the loss of personal time while assigned to on-call status. When called out, the officer will be compensated at one and one half times the officer’s hourly rate.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Civil Service Law, a member of the unit employed as a detective shall hold such assignment in the discretion of the Chief and shall be paid a differential of six percent (6%) above the wage rate to which they would ordinarily be entitled as a police officer. The differential plus the base wage shall be the basis of overtime pay calculation.
Detective Differential. The Detective(s) shall be paid a differential in Base W age over and above the Step 6 Base W age of a police officer as follows:
Detective Differential. The differential shall be as set forth below. Payment of the differential shall be prorated for time served in the assignment. Grade 1: 11 % above top Police Officer salary. Grade 2: 10% above top Police Officer salary. Grade 3: 9% above top Police Officer salary. Supervisor: 9% above top Police Officer salary.
Detective Differential. An employee assigned to investigation as a Detective, Detective/DARE Officer, or Detective/SRO Officer on a full-time basis shall receive, in addition to, but separate from, all other compensation, Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($220.00) per month. An employee assigned to investigation as a Detective Sergeant on a full-time basis shall receive, in addition to, but separate from, all other compensation, Two Hundred Forty Five Dollars ($245.00) per month.
Detective Differential. All employees serving as Detectives shall receive and annual differential of $1,000.00
Detective Differential. The Town is not obligated to have any minimum number of officers assigned to a distinct position of “uniformed detective”. There may be zero or multiple uniformed detectives (who shall serve on either the B or C lines, but not on the same shift).
Detective Differential. Police Officers and Sergeants shall be assigned to perform investigative work as detectives at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police, and if assigned for more than ten (10) days shall receive five percent (5.0%) of their base salary in addition to all other compensation when so assigned.
Detective Differential. Effective July 1, 2014, an employee assigned to investigation as a Detective, Detective/SRO Officer or Detective Sergeant on a full-time basis shall receive an additional two and one-half percent (2.5%) of base salary.
