Common use of Detective Differential Clause in Contracts

Detective Differential. (a) Detectives shall receive $1,750.00 per calendar year, over and above their applicable annual salaries, while serving in the Detective Bureau as compensation for the loss of personal time while assigned to on-call status. When called out, the officer will be compensated at one and one half times the officer's hourly rate. (b) Periods of "on-call" shall not exceed 13 weeks per year.
