Determination by Physical to Qualify For Leave. A District-appointed physician shall determine if assault leave is necessary and the length of the leave. If medical attention is required or sought, the bargaining unit employee shall furnish to the Superintendent or designee a statement of the nature of the disability and its duration, which has been signed by a physician.
