Break for Eight-Hour Employee. All bargaining unit employees who work eight (8) hour shifts shall be given and limited to one fifteen (15) minute break prior to the meal break and one fifteen (15) minute break after the meal break and before the end of the shift. The breaks shall be scheduled by the Supervisor. If the bargaining unit employee is called off of or denied the break due to an emergency, after the emergency the bargaining unit employee will be allowed the fifteen (15) minute break, if possible.
