Common use of DEVELOPER LICENSING INFORMATION Clause in Contracts

DEVELOPER LICENSING INFORMATION. In order to install and/or activate the Software, certain machine-specific information as well as personal information about Developer (and the Academic User, where relevant) and the systems used by Developer (and the Academic User, where relevant) ("Developer Licensing Information") is sent to BlackBerry at the time of installation and/or activation and/or periodically thereafter. Developer Licensing Information may include but is not limited to email address, username, software identification numbers, MAC addresses, UUIDs, IP addresses, identification numbers set by manufacturers of hardware and/or identification numbers related to host operating systems. BlackBerry may use Developer Licensing Information to improve its products or services, for the purposes of verifying compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, enforcing any reporting or audit-related provisions in this Agreement, and verifying compliance with the terms and conditions of any other agreements between Developer and BlackBerry relating to Software provided by or on behalf of BlackBerry.
