DIR Registration. As of March 1, 2015, any District vendors engaging in a public works project must meet the requirements of Labor Code section 1725.5 and register with the Department of Industrial Relations. As of April 1, 2015, vendors will be prohibited from proceeding with public works projects unless registered with DIR.
