Directive Memorandum. It informs the employee how to complete a task and directs the employee to perform correctly in the future. It can also be used to give general direction to more than one employee. Issuance of a directive memorandum may not be appealed. A directive memorandum shall not appear in the employee’s personnel file and will be destroyed on the employee’s anniversary date.
