Common use of Directory Assistance Database Clause in Contracts

Directory Assistance Database. BellSouth shall make its directory assistance database available to Network Telephone in order to allow Network Telephone to provide its customers with the same directory assistance telecommunications services BellSouth provides to BellSouth customers. BellSouth shall provide Network Telephone with an initial feed via magnetic tape and daily update initially via magnetic tape and subsequently via an electronic gateway to be developed mutually by Network Telephone and BellSouth of customer address and number changes. Directory Assistance Services must provide both the ported and Network Telephone telephone numbers to the extent available in BellSouth’s database assigned to a customer. Privacy indicators must be properly identified to assure the non-published numbers are accurately identified.
