Common use of Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Clause in Contracts

Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises. Section 17076.11 of the Education Code requires school districts using funds allocated pursuant to the State of California School Facility Program for the construction or modernization of a school building to have a participation goal of at least 3 percent, per year, of the overall dollar amount expended each year by the school district, for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE). In accordance therewith, the Vendor must submit, upon request by District, appropriate documentation to the District identifying the steps the Vendor has taken to solicit DVBE participation in conjunction with this Agreement, if applicable.
