Common use of Discovery of other Minerals Clause in Contracts

Discovery of other Minerals. The Contractor shall promptly notify the Ministry of the discovery of any minerals or other substances in the Contract Area. If any Persons are granted a permit or license within the Contract Area for the exploration and exploitation of any minerals or substances other than Hydrocarbons, the Ministry shall take all reasonable measures to ensure that the operations of such Persons will not obstruct the Contractor's Petroleum Operations. The Contractor shall use all reasonable efforts to avoid any obstruction with such permit holders or licensees' operations.
